Recorded live at Lana Lou's, September 8, 2019. In this music there is an element of chance. Each kit has a curated selection of sounds but I don't always know which pad/trigger has which, so I can be surprised with what pops up and the direction the music goes. Makes it all more in the moment. As was mentioned after the gig - it sounds like someone rummaging a trunk in their attic looking for a beat. Super happy with the Volca Modular + FX chain as a lead voice in this mix.

Bonus tracks are rehearsals recorded Sep 1 (The Plaza ) and the 7th (Mt. Furthermore).

Artwork by Lee Hutzulak (photo of a 35mm print - the deconstruction of the Plaza of Nations, Vancouver BC) This was an Expo 86 site! I used to ride through the plaza on the way to work - I have a whole series of the site being deconstructed. There was a large glass ceiling that covered the whole area - they used a crane to poke out the panes one at a time and the glass showered down.
